Avocado Festival

October 4th - 6th

Friday, 1pm to 10pm

Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 10pm


The California Avocado Festival welcomes everyone to 3 days full of Peace, Love and Guacamole. This year there will be 60 bands, 50 arts & crafts and commercial vendors, 15 delicious food vendors and over a dozen non-profits will be on site for you to help support. The event showcases the endless ways to eat an avocado and attendees can also enjoy other various local vendors and plenty of live entertainment in the heart of the neighboring town of Carpinteria.

Santa Barbara Vintners Festival

October 19, 12pm - 4pm


Savor the Santa Barbara Vintners Festival at Vega Vineyard and Farm, celebrating its 40th anniversary with an impressive selection of wines from over 50 wineries. Enjoy delectable dishes, meet winemakers, and explore why Santa Barbara County was named Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival

October 19th, 10am - 5pm


Dive into the Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival at the harbor, where you can meet local fishermen and watch as specialty dishes like lobster and sea urchin are prepared right before your eyes. Enjoy a variety of food booths featuring tacos, oysters, crab, paella, and more throughout the day.

Lane Farms Pumpkin Patch

September 28 through October 31

Monday-Friday from 12-7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (12-5 p.m. Halloween Day)


Lane Farms has everything you need to get into the Halloween season with hayrides, farm animals, a corn maze, loads of pumpkins and the perfect backdrop for that festive, Instagrammable fall photo. This harvest season, embark on an afternoon of autumn activities that are safe and fun for the whole family.

Boo at the Zoo

October 18 - 27 from 5pm to 8pm


See the Zoo in a new light at the 2nd Annual ZooLights! Watch the Zoo transform after dark into a magical world of lights, featuring thousands of handcrafted silk-covered lanterns lit with more than 50,000 LED bulbs. 


Walk through the Zoo and enjoy the interactive light exhibit with illuminated lanterns showcasing animal and nature scenes that represent wild places from around the world. Discover the underwater seascape, beautiful birds, interactive areas, and dozens of other animals all on the Zoo’s beautiful grounds during this larger-than-life immersive experience.
